One of the main things I miss about living abroad One of the main things I miss about living abroad is walking. Walking everywhere. Now that I’m back in the US, I don’t walk anymore. Everything is so far away and it’s easier (and most times safer) to just drive. When I was living in Korea, I was averaging close to 10,000 steps a day. Walking to work, walking (running around) at work chasing after the small children that I was teaching, taking circuitous routes home just for fun and to get some extra steps in. I ate everything I wanted because I knew I was going to walk it all off. Got to breathe in all the fresh air around me, see the leaves changing color in the fall and the cherry blossoms blooming in the spring. I really miss it! Every single place I visit, I feel an insatiable d Every single place I visit, I feel an insatiable desire to move there. Liechtenstein is no exception! My bus ride from Switzerland to Austria took me right through the 6th smallest nation in the world, Liechtenstein. I wish I could’ve stayed and explore longer.
